This is exactly what Garetjax is working on.  So it looks like they might go
with his anticheat instead of Evenbalance.

Actually I contacted them :) I talk to them a lot.

We are going for more of a heuristic approach instead
of a signature based approach.  

For example try and lock down directx so you can see
if any hacks are trying to interfere with it. You
don't have to know their md5, or scan for their
filename etc, all you have to know is somethig is
trying to mess with directx.
