[cod] Server crash, cpu takes 100%

Jay,

Ryan or anyone at Actv, or Evenbalance ack this problem at least?

I am switching back to your original tar volumes Jay, and uploading them to 
a new
server.  This server is running a 2.4 Ghz Dual, running a non SMP kernel.
I also dropped your tar on the 3.0 Ghz Dual Total Control server I just 
picked up
from theplanet with the SMP kernel.

(The current box crashing (ONLY TDM) is  running SMP on Dual 2.8's.)
(yea, a lot of servers, but I am dumping the 2.4 and 2.8's and keeping the 
3.0 Dual)
They had a special on it at 2GB, 2000GB/Mo, 100Mbs Iface VLAN, Dual 120GB 
drives,
and NAS backup service, Tier 1 net (level3/UUNET) 100% uptime (Yea... right 
;-)))

Better than 5 x 9's?  This is going to be a great server.... less than 30 
min down
time a year?  Heck, I can not guarantee that on the cores I am designing.
Then again, there is no SLA penalty.  They just say "Sorry"...

(I wonder if they would say 100% uptime, if the SLA was a refund of 1 day 
of the months
charges for outages or impact that exceeds an half hour in 1 day.  I bet we 
would see that
statement dry up quick.  I am not an attorney, but one could say this is an 
implied
warranty... "100% power and 100% network (tier1) uptime).  Hum...

Anyway,  I sure would feel better if someone at either Actv or Evenbalance 
acked the mess they
made... :-( I have not seen much on punksbusted.com, cheatpolice, CODAdmin, 
or any of the
other staples...  You heard anything?

BTW, I noticed it appears to happen only during TWL tourns.  What is different?
Friendlyfire is on, The box is password locked server, All the other 
parameters I pretty much leave
at TWL requirements...  Once I open the box and turn on friendly fire OFF, 
it appears
to never crash in Public TDM mode....   Eh, my STraces look like everyone 
elses... ;-)
