EB are working on it with admins who can recreate the problem.

No probs with the 2.6.1-1 based box my servers are on.

Do you know if it can be due to the kernel version?

I've exactly the same problem now on another server (another machine)
running UO patch 1.51 (not b). Crash while writing punkbuster screenshot.

I have random crashes too, running on SuSE Linux 8.1. I diddn't a strace,
but I tried to do a clean install of the pb-update via rcon - I deleted the
files in the homepath dir and only installed the old main/*.conf files. Now
I'm still testing if that helped.
