You already have an unofficial version with:
    http://0day.icculus.org/cod/COD-CODUO-lnxded-bins-12212004.tar.bz2

Using these binaries on top of a 1.51 version gives you the same effect.

There's an official version of these going through Activision QA right 
now (my fault, the official path is just starting), if you prefer to wait.
