Hey guys,

We are getting a new server in the next month or so, and need to build a
system up. Currently running COD on a p42.6 w 1Gb of RAM, on Redhat 8.1 (I
think). COD:UO runs like a bag of shit with 16 players and nothing else.
What seems to be the processor/s (i.e Dual Xeon, AMD etc). We are a clan,
and obviously can't afford a huge amount of money, but what will give us the

best performance.

We are liking to run on the box, Ventrillo, COD (16 players) and COD:UO (up
to 24players).

This question will prolly start a shit fight between AMD and Intel, but
ohwell.

Also, what is the easiest and best distro of linux to use?

Cheers
Pete
