My 16 player pub is setting 3% CPU with 16 players (empty) and no
vehicles.

Jeep crashing was fixed for me, fedora core 2.
I can now host 16 player with about 40% cpu load... still way too much,
but better than nothing!
(amd 64 3200+, 1024 ram)
