When running this engine on linux running PB. Just do a PB_SV_HomePath and
it will show you where to place pbweb and do your update. This has been
known since RTCW. Jay correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you say you don't
host servers over at codadmin? Some people!

Hey m8

Cheers fer the info

Got it working using new updates files ....

1. copyed pbsv.cfg > pbsv.cfg_bak
2. copyed pbsvuser.cfg > pbsvuser.cfg_bak
3. Echo'd the original files (ie to 1 byte files basically cleaning it)

Added to autoexec.cfg :-
pb_sv_enable
Wait
Set sv_punkbuster "1"

Then .................

^3PunkBuster Server: 0 Power Players loaded from
/home/sol/.callofduty/pb/pbpower.dat
^3PunkBuster Server: 0 PB Rcon Filters loaded from
/home/sol/.callofduty/pb/pbrcon.dat
^3PunkBuster Server: 0 Map lines loaded from
/home/sol/.callofduty/pb/pbsvmaps.cfg
^3PunkBuster Server: PunkBuster Server (v1.102 | A1319 C1.074) Enabled
<------- :) :) :)

Checked ASE and there she was :)

Thanks to all who have helped :)

I know have a "user" run UO server with latest punkbuster running :).
Taken most of the day between work commitments and replying to emails, I
will continue to help other ppl with problems I have encountered and
solved by hook or crook :)

Thanks again

S.R.Quinney

You may want to start the PB system in your command line.
