[cod] coduo crashing

We've solved our problem with the jeeps and tanks.  Still unsure about 
what exactly is causing it but we know roughly.  There seems to be 
something in the default 2.6.8 kernel config.  We then tried compiling 
the 2.6.8 kernel with a stock 2.4.x kernel config and the problem is 
gone.  No more crashing from the jeeps.  But I'm hearing from others 
using my servers of a new crash =( but they nor I have any idea whats 
causing this new one.
