type say "blah blah".  if you're running a server before 1.4, you can just
ype what you wanna say.  1.4 and up, you hafta type say "blah blah"

I also try to, it isn't even pingable. So it isn't just the website that is
down, the whole (virtual) server is offline.

A little question, what command do I use to say something to all player from
my server (linux) console?

has anyone tried to connect to www.callofduty.org lately?  i can't - it
seems to have been down for a few weeks now, anyone know more of its fate
than me?  i can still post on the forums that I used to get to through
callofduty.org, located at fpscentral, so at least thats not dead....
yet....
