[cod] Browser List

Yeah.  IW said that there would be limited caching on the client side with
1.4.  But it doesn't EXPLAIN the problem.  Why are some servers dropped
completely?  Is it a packet problem?  Is it a database problem?  IW is so
closed-mouth about it, that all we CAN be is frustrated.  When I look at the
server list and I see all those empty servers, I wonder what is really going
on.

I think it is still a known issue (Bryan or someone else in the know can
correct me if need be)
in 1.3 that the server browser in game is still having issues.
I think it was on this list that someone pointed out that there were way
more than 2000 servers (1.3)
but only usually around 2000 or so show up in game.

Like I said, I am only going on what I have heard through this list and
other COD arenas, but hopefully
it will also be fixed in 1.4.

Anyone care to add to this?

OK.  Now much does it cost?  I see the same servers on the list all the time
and mine are NEVER there. I stop them.  Restart them, and nothing.  They do
show on the IW website, but not on the browser.  Obviously there is some
trick or we have to pay someone to put them there.
