[cod] OT: /proc, top, ps broken in some linux kernels?

I just ran across these tools:  http://procps.sourceforge.net/index.html

Top, for me, seems to be more accurate (cause i've got a runaway process
using 100% cpu, the "old" top didn't show it as using 100%).
