did you remove all previous mods? i.e. deleted all old mod pak files from
your main directory? also, check your lib directory for the file
"libstdc.so.5" (without quotes =). I have heard people have issues with the
server if they dont have that file...
i dunno wtf all those core files are (core.1128, etc)... maybe someone else
does? I think they have something to do with it cuz it says "core dumped".
but i'm not sure.
if you show me your main directory, I can check it with mine to see if you
have anything extra or missing.

Subject: [cod] Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Hello,
I've updated the required lib files on my linux box but I'm still having
problem running the server. I was wondering if someone could shed some
light on the matter. I'm getting the following error when initiating the
server
File Handles:
handle 1: console_mp_server.log
----------------------
59714 files in pk3 files
Sys_LoadDll(/root/.callofduty/main/game.mp.i386.so)... ok
Sys_LoadDll(game) found **vmMain** at 0x488b1dd4
Sys_LoadDll(game) succeeded!
==== RestartGame ====
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
bash-2.05a#
I do have some files after the lib installation that I'm not sure if they
should be in the call of duty folder or not but here are the file names as
well.
cgamex86.dll core.32595 core.32636 core.32650 core.641
mss32.dll
cod.bmp core.32608 core.32639 core.32653 gamex86.dll
uix86.dll
cod_lnxded core.32612 core.32643 core.32655 localization.txt
core.1128 core.32614 core.32645 core.32708 main
core.27251 core.32631 core.32647 core.360 miles
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards.
