Were 2 admins here that have major linux lags.

Were 2 admisn here that have both been running windows on our servers,
combines we have 5 servers, both our windows servers ran great, no
problems..

I was the first to change ot linux using the leaked version just under a
week before the real linux server was released.

But the linux server had incredible lags in form of periodic "Connection
Interupted", i thought it was the leak all though it did it right away
before it had even used 25% memory.

When the real linux server was released i dident notice the "lags" as much
in the beginning but i did notice my ping to it was 14 insteadof the old
windows "5", my other test box was ping 5 and was running 2.6 instead of 2.4
so i compiled a 2.6.0-test9 kernel to test and the ping dropped to 5.

It wasent until we played clanwars , or more then 8 or so players on the
server at a time that you notice the "connection interupeted" lag all the
time.

It's REALLY bad in 6on6.

The admin i know from another clan had alot of lag on his linux server and
his players pings also climbed and dropped alot so he changed back to win.

Are we the ONLY 2 people that has these incredibly annoying "Connection
Interupted" lags... ?

Btw. i disabled logging and stopped all services i know can safely be
stopped to se if it was any of those, but it was not, i tried maxrate
9000->25000 but it was the same.

I havent got a clue what to try now, if alot of you is seeing the same thing
im waiting for the next linux, if not i don't know what to do but install
windows :,(
