[cod] Linux Startup scripts?

One more note about my scripts. There are some things in the script that it
does not do currently. If the server failed to startup for some reason you
wouldn't know unless you checked to see that the process is running, or if
you checked the logfile it writes to. I just wanted to get this going this
weekend so I didn't worry about that. Now it's tweak time. I'll be making
future enhancements later on to make it even easier to use and more fail
safe as far as checking to see that the server started ok. I'll keep
everyone posted of my changes and feel free to edit the stuff below the GNU
stuff. If you want to share your tweak I'd appreciate it and I will give
you credit in the script, and if you don't want to share your fixes and
tweaks no big deal. Thanks. And I'll post the link here when I go home to
lunch today.
