Has anyone been able to get custom maps to work properly on a pure
server? I have tried using +set fs_game CEMods in the command line, but
that just crashs my server. Any suggestions?

People append z's in front of their mods if their mod overwrites files
in the pak*.pk3 files. The game loads pk3's in alphabetical order, so
they want their mods loaded last, as it will overwrite any existing
files. Maps don't overwrite standard game files, so they can be named
anything.
