If I'm not mistaken then that won't work (meaning: chat won't be
recorded).<br>

Yep I've tried this but to my knowledge there was no conciderable
performance difference, at least not in the three lowest quality modes.
However since the server I tested it on had a RAID 10 setup (nah wasn't
my or my clan's server, but my cousin's 2nd home pc <span
 class="moz-smiley-s4"><span> :-P </span></span>) I doubt this is a
representive situation.<br>
