As I have just mentioned in my forums, my actions should not
be
interpreted as an "extortion" attempt against DICE. I told them up
front
that I was planning to stop working on these utils before giving
them
the two options I described in my open letter to the community.
They
declined my offer anyway.

I obviously realise that by stopping
work on these utils BF admins will
suffer. What you must realise is that I
did this work voluntarily and I
am under no obligation to do so in the
future or to release my source
code.

It's unfortunate that DICE did
not pick up the ball and run with it. I
believe this decision is going to
hurt them in the long run but they're
not fools so I can only presume they
have an equal or better solution to
BF's admin problems in mind.

At
least I hope they do for your sake and the sake of all BF admins
out
there.

Kevin

-----Original Message-----
From: Kingsley
