I didn't see any Python issues in there. The worst one is that you can't
safely kill people from Python without leaving the server unstable, which
creates a host of problems with admin scripts that need to move people
between teams. There's also no way to arrange squads from Python.
You can't change the password on the fly, which is a much cleaner way of
implementing reserved slots, and also means you don't have to restart the
server when you want to switch from a busy member-priority period back to
open play, without losing most of your population for the night.

That's ok. It's the holidays, so lots of alternatives will spring up.
Hopefully not so many lemmings will go for EA's and VUG's offerings and try
out the Indies.
