[bf1942] bandwidth usage so far....

Well I've been trying different settings and can't find anything that
seems to work right, so I'm guessing the rumor is true.

I keep getting "There is a problem with your connection" whenever a
new client joins the server....  anyone else seeing this on linux?  If
so, are you able to fix it?
