[bf1942] bf2 FPS?

A very unscientific scout of linux retail servers shows that almost all of
the non-ranked (running with 64/64 players) had bf2_fps figures of 28 - 34,
while ranked servers with the same player load were all under 25, with the
lowest being 13.

I realise this is a worthless study as I know not the specifications and
setup of each linux box, but it does make me wonder. Either way, thanks for
your quick reply.

Best,

Andy

No, AFAIK the only performance penalty is a bit of latency added at the end
of a round.
