  Hi,

  Just to make it sure:

I installed a self compiled zlib 1.2.2 and server crashed. No difference between the old one.

  Marcel

It actually helped out a lot! I got out a callstack on the client when it crashed!

The clients receive weird end of round data that they can't really cope with, I'll investigate it further to see why.

The trouble is that the client can't seem do unzip the data it has received. Maybe it has something to do with the zlib-version you have installed on the server? I'm using 1.2.2 here, are you using something else on the troubled servers?

P.S Nigel, I'll let you kill me another time instead! J D.S

      :(

i ran ethereal on my client side and ran the game, nothing looks odd except right before the crash (time wise) theres a tcp connection reset .. maybe 1 of the master servers, ill try again when i figure out how to get the logging working.

I've heard a rumor about removing the "players" setting from the lines in the maplist fixes this. Is that true? I don't see any mention of it here, I'm about to test it. Will let ya know.
