Is this the same as the old bfpridaemon? bfpridamon was as standalone
daemon run by
root. Whenever a BF1942 or Vietnam-server started a map-change, they would
let the
bfpridaemon know by communicating on a specific port. The bfpridaemon
would then
renice the process while the map was loading, and set it back to default
once the loading
was complete.

According to +help:
 +lowPriority - Run the game with slightly lower priority

which doesn't sound quite like what is wanted. Also, monitoring with top,
I could see no
difference when using this argument compared to not.

On a different note: Have I gone completely blind, or is the +overlayPath
option no longer
there? I get the following at the end of ./start +help, so possibly some
options aren't included?
fatal error: argument parsing failed
