[bf1942] missing config file?

Hey Guys-

The game comes with a default config, and the windows GUI interface lets
you create your own and toggle between them.  I made a custom one, saved
it, and started the server with it.  Now while all the settings stuck,
the config was never created?  I am looking in \mods\bf2\settings and I
see serversettings.con, which is the default settings, but no file that
has mine.

Any clue where it writes them?
