[bf1942] rcon command for changing maps in bf2

If you do admin.nextlevel and then admin.runnextlevel, doesn't the 
"nextlevel" command essentially altering the map cycle in memory?  
Effectively, you just place map X in the cycle right after the current map.  
Right?
