Rcon Syntax and Server List

I was one of the admins running the Linux 32 server build so I'm happy to see
a patch /new server build. I have 2 problems though.

1---I cannot see my server in the server list. Before re-installing the new build this
was not an issue.

2---While in game I can login in to rcon (console) and it says authentication successful, 
but when I try to execute any of the rcon commands it says "wrong syntax"

Any help is appreciated.
