That wasn't good..  it put all the files in /home/stoop  (admin,
adminutils,ect) then made a sub dir with all the files too..
/home/stoop/bf2/admin ect

That's no problem fpr running the server, just an additional bf2 subdir.

You manually created the directory /home/stoop/bf2, right?
So, BF is installing in a subdir, called bf2.
Try installing to /home/stoop instead.
