[bf1942] How could DICE agree to this??

Interesting post there, but it basically boils down to fact if you wanted to
build a stats system that is to the majority part hack proof ( prevent
sending false stats ) then this is possible. It will never be 100% even if
you run it only on "EA" servers I can guarantee you that.

Limiting the stats, hence ranking generation to EA only servers will only
achieve one thing that is the opposite to what the stats where added to
achieve in the first place. This will be a small unsupported community.

If they cant see that they will never be able to provide the quality of
server purely due to there limited location facilities, not to mention
there now quite legendarily bad technical support, then they are
kidding themselves.

Even a game with such promise as BF2 has; could well be destroyed
it if EA continue to take this standing.
