The CVS for qstat is hosted on SourceForge - I haven't experienced any
problems while downloading from CVS.  If you continue to get problems,
qstat-users might be more appropriate, or perhaps you should check
your local CVS installation.

$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/qstat login 
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/qstat co -P qstat2

qstat 2.8 was just released and I don't recall hearing of anything new
going into the CVS tree.
