Yup.  I dumped SW:BF also after 2 months of no *nix support.   Even paid a
friend at a GSP for one for 2 months just to have a place to play... But I
felt terrible sending in tickets daily to have the server restarted, or fixed,
or whatever because it didn't work.   So I cancelled it.   I won't make the
mistake of buying a game before I can support a server again.

Read that as: "If there is no linux server, I won't buy BF:2 until there is
one.   If it's late, I won't buy at all".
