Anyone got any further with this tried so far no joy
on suse 9.0 all SMP:
1. generic (2.4.21-215-smp4G)
2. stripped down (2.4.21-215-default)
3. stripped down (2.6.5)

All lead to 10 -> 20% cpu usage when empty
on a dual 2.2Ghz Opteron :(
