[bf1942] Server keeps crashing above 30 players

I love linux, but just got tired of waiting and dealing with BF server
issues.

My Linux box never crashed, but the game did often. Add remote manager
issues and what knotts.

We are a Team Server and not a business, so I switched for the good of my
club.

Windows has been rock solid, so at this point I think I made the right move.

Well there you go. I've also got a BFV server running on win2k3 and it
can outpace my faster and more ram'ed linux machine any day of the week,
and it never crashes. I'm not trying to belittle the efforts of the linux
server crowd here, but why are we getting the short end of the stick? Why
is the windows server version so much better than the linux one for
stability and functionality? I'd be converting this one to windows also,
but it's got a significantly higher price tag per month at the dedicated
hosting service that I'm using. It looks like I might have to bite the
bullet on this one though.
