[bf1942] BFVCC

There is a standalone server executable that gets installed off the retail
cd set. BFVCC cannot be pointed at this executable, and hence requires the
CD in the drive to laucnh a server from it, which is kind of the suck for
running a dedicated server under 2003.

Jon,

I'm using BFVCC to launch the dedicated server from the normal bfvietnam
executable (from the full 3 CD installation). I am not running a listen
server. I'm under the impression that this is the only way to run a Win32
dedicated server at the moment, being that there is no standalone server out
yet.

BFVCC seems flakey overall, but it does manage to launch the server
correctly for me (under Win2003 Server).

Are you using the full game to run it or the windows dedicated server? I'm
using the Windows dedicated server.
