Uhm, I guess "kill -9 `head -n 1 BFVIETNAM.pid`" is a better idea, then?

And yes, putting the pid file into the overlay directory sounds like a 
good idea. BF1942 doesn't have a PID file at all, at least not in the 
1.6rc2 server.
