BFV Server and XML Logs

Wow, this is great to be able to put the new server through it's paces
before the rush hits!

I'm working on finishing up a parser for the XML logs generated by
BF1942, so of course one of the first things I wanted to look at with
the new server is whether the XML logs were compatible or not. I fired
it up (the bfv_linded-v1.0-20040310.1512.run version) and let it run in
co-op mode for a while. . . it had to be co-op of course, since I don't
have a client yet!

When I looked at the XML logs, however, all I get is:

     <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
     <bf:log version="1.1" xmlns:bfv="http://www.dice.se/xmlns/bfv/1.0">
     </bf:log>

They say brevity is the soul of wit, but I thought this a bit much! In
BF1942, even if you ran a co-op game and no human players ever
connected, you would still get a detailed blow-by-blow log of events in
the XML log--nothing like this.

So, is something broken with the XML logging, or has the server been
changed to keep it's mouth closed if no humans connect? Or, there's
always the third possibility--that I did something stupid!

Thanks,
