That's good to know.  I just see the entire point of private slots being
that you can get into your server if it is full.  If they only function when
the server is NOT full I dont see the point.

Not immediately, no.  Every windows release has to go through all the
testing channels.  An earlier Linux-only fix is possible, time
permitting.
