If you're an organization, consider doing attachment-stripping at the MTA. I
run sendmail with MIMEDefang and never saw this message because any message
with an executable attachment is considered hostile and rejected (not bounced)
during the SMTP conversation. (MD can also run SpamAssassin and numerous
vendors' virus scanners and can make accept/reject/quarantine/redirect
decisions based on the results of these applications.)

Quite a number of organizations that use Exchange internally use some kind of
Linux-based MTA (including sendmail+MD) as an "Internet condom" to protect
Exchange from spam and viruses using cheap, open source solutions. My company
did this because a commercial Windows-based anti-spam system would have busted
the budget, while a discarded PC running Postfix and SA in the DMZ could be
done without getting the money people involved.
