OT: Linux ported to Windows or otherwise?

Hi List

I stated in a forum, that since 1.6 the Linux-Server is ported to the
Windows version, since I (thought) I read it on this mailing list...

Unfortunately I'm unable to find the mail of Andreas anymore to prove
this...

Does anyone have this mail still in his archive? I'd like to prove the
windows admins, that they're wrong claiming it is vice-versa... :)
