Also check you have the map rotation set right, ie that you're using the correct syntax for the maps,

game.addLevel bocage GPM_CQ bf1942

Are you sure you are using a clean install as client?
Make sure you have the correct 'contentcrc32.con' on both server/client.
MD5 of 'contentcrc32.con' = e379dd17836796f28ca08ebdc1a6d820
If you have, maybe you should try 'contentcheck 2' instead of
'contentcheck 1'
BTW are you using a clean v1.6rc2 server ? No old dirs of 1.5 or sth ?
