Run md5sum on the file and compare it to the md5sum listed on the HTTP
server you grabbed it from... in a seperate file.  FWIW, my md5sum is:

rob at dell rob $ md5sum /tmp/*.run
590e272fd3f6e3c22b18933cd638f4aa  /tmp/bf1942_lnxded-1.6-rc1.run
