I run the dynamic 1.45ob2. Here's a backtrace from the core I just
found:

(gdb) bt
#0  0x08398cd6 in dice::ref2::io::NetworkManager::getNetUpdate(dice::ref2::io::BitStream&, dice::ref2::io::NetworkableDescriptor*, dice::ref2::io::NetworkableStateMask*, int, bool) ()
#1  0x08ac9594 in ?? ()
#2  0xffffffff in ?? ()
Cannot access memory at address 0xffffffff

I run my server under bfsmd (from http://www.blackbagops.com/bfutils.shtml)
(thanks, Kevin, this thing rules!), and here's what its log says:

2003-09-05 00:54:52 : DEBUG: SigChildHandler caught SIGCHLD!
2003-09-05 00:54:52 : Server terminated unexpectedly with exit code 11.
2003-09-05 00:54:53 : DEBUG: Couldn't find server process! (27308)
2003-09-05 00:54:53 : Server has crashed
2003-09-05 00:54:53 : Auto-restart is enabled, restarting the server.
2003-09-05 00:54:53 : DEBUG: /usr/home/hlds/bfb-bf/bf1942/bf1942_lnxded +game BF1942 +statusMonitor 0
2003-09-05 00:54:53 : Server started

FYI, I don't use overlayPath or anything funky at all, really.

If you want the core, I can send it. If the bt is enough, I'll delete
em and just send you that part.
