1.45 server using significantly more CPU than 1.40?

After a delay of updating our servers to let the mod makes and
bfsmd catch up I just clocked our test server using 50% of a
2.4Ghz CPU @ 24 players in comparison to to the old 27%.

I've made other changes on the box recently so was wondering
it anyone else is seeing this virtually double in CPU load?
