[bf1942] windows vs linux

Sorry if a bit off topic

What's fun about using linux is that it makes you able to operate in a
multitude of other expensive or inaccessible operating systems, a la
Solaris, AIX, that normally you wouldn't have experience in.  It sure
has been an asset for me anyhow.  When I got a job where all the
development is on SunOS/Solaris, I felt already at home.  

For games, well, there is some evolution towards the light.  S2Games has
released Savage a few months ago, with both Linux and Windows version on
the installation CD.
