    Neither the static or dynamic work on Slackware 8.1 anymore.

    ./bf1942_lnxded.dynamic: error while loading shared libraries: 
    libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
    ./bf1942_lnxded.static: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3' not found 
    (required by ./bf1942_lnxded.static)

    Slackware 8.1 is based on GLIBC 2.2.5.
