console messages sent by players??

I am running a dedicated linux 1.5 (RH 7.2) server.

I have noticed 2 times in the past week that gray "server" messages appeared in the message stream, and they were not sent by an admin. The second time I noticed someone was TK auto kicked right before the messages appeared, but I have no idea if that had anything to do with it. I don't remember what may have happend before the first time.

Is it possible for messages to lag behind and be sent after someone is kicked/leaves, and if so, will those messages appear grey like the admin sent them, or is there some other means in which players may send these kinds of messages? Is this a linux beta issue? anyone else seen this?

I don't use bf remote mgr or anything like that.

On another topic, I was wondering if it would be possible to show the name of the person who initiates any kind of voting. Some players think it is funny to endlessly try to vote kick people, which this rarely works anyways, and they are doing it only to be annoying not for any particular reason. If you could see their name, then it would be possible to kick/ban these annoying smaktards.
