[bf1942] Should i Wine or should i go ?

When people complain about the problems, I tell them that the next linux
version is ready, but their (DICE) is still working out the bugs on the
Windows version.  Everyone just says, "Oh, Cool!  Let me know when we need
to upgrade."

I'd say, try the Wine version.  If you get it setup sucessfully, then
you'll know more about Wine and the Windows BF server.  I've thought about
it myself, but I admin a lot more games than just BF/DC and don't have the
time, but I'll like to try it eventually.  I want to run other games that
don't have linux dedicated servers like America's Army and some of the Tom
Clancy series.
