[bf1942] Linux server status update 2003-05-05

Steve,
this was with 4.8, but I've read reports similar to this for 5.0.

Bascially, if you give me patches for the gcc port so that it can
compile the following program:

#include <wstring>

int main(int argc, char** argv)
{
	std::wstring dummy;
	return 0;
}

I'll try to take it from there. I should be getting enough computers
to run a few other Unix distros here soon and when that happens I can have
a dedicated FreeBSD machine as well.

Regards,
Andreas
