Thank you very much! Since we use a Cisco Router, ist easy to configure
IP-Helper. I think I will configure it soon, and I am optimistic it will
work.

Alternatively you can set your router to have an IP-helper of the
machine that is running the game. It will pass all broadcasts on any
subnet to that machine. It's also commonly known as DHCP relay.

Yes, it's because you're on a different network. TThe client and server
need to be on the same broadcast domain for the server to show up.
