I interpret the version number to refer to the wire protocol, not the
build. Hence, 1.4 client would be incompatible with 1.31 server. Instead,
let's see another 1.31 *build*. One can use the date or some internal build
number to identify it. And perhaps include it in a queryable string so it
shows up in GameSpy and ASE and can be filtered for.
