yer this is getting to be a vicious cycle. EA release a patch and take 
their time getting the code to ryan, ryan is afraid to mess too much cos 
the new code will fuck things up again, and by the time he gets the new 
code from EA, he starts waiting for the next code drop which has already 
come out on win32....
