grenade explodes twice

Hi,
when I'm throwing grenades, they explode twice, so they do twice the damage as normal, it's a cool feature :) but maybe a bug too? I hear the exploding sound twice and I see the explosion twice, some people have experienced it, some haven't. I have only noticed it on a linux server.
can someone confirm this?
